Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: My dog has a runny nose, coughing and sneezing. I’m scheduled to board them this weekend. Is it still okay to bring them?

A: In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, we request that owners do not bring any dog that has a runny nose, cough, or ear eye infection as those conditions can be contagious. It would be best to board a sick pet with a veterinarian, where their symptoms may be treated and managed for improvement. Please advise us of any chronic health issues that may impact your pup.

Q: I want to breed my dog or I’d like to wait until they mature before spaying/neutering them. Can they still come to your location?

A:  Yes! We temperament test each dog individually and place them in play groups according to size, play style and overall behavior. As dogs mature we continue to closely monitor for unwanted behaviors such as: excessive mounting, marking, and whining that can be disruptive and even result in dog fights. We do not accept female dogs in heat and also recommend to have a discussion with your veterinarian about the best time for your breed/size of dog to be spayed or neutered {typically around 2 years of age}.

Q: I only use flea collars on my dog because I don’t believe in using chemicals. Can my pet still come?

A:  We want to protect all of the pets in our care by keeping them flea free. If you choose to use a non veterinary recommended solution and your dog brings fleas into our environment; a pest removal fee will apply.

Q: Does my dog have to participate in group play?

A: No. We understand not all dogs enjoy interacting with other dogs. If your dog is not comfortable in a small group setting, we will make sure they get one on one time with us throughout the day. Your pups comfort and safety are our first priority.
